Due to loosening of fender bolts, this gap could change after installation. This can be adjusted during the last step if fender does not line up as desired. 2. Open hood and locate and remove six M6 bolts holding both left and right fender to chassis. a. These fasteners are factory painted and will crack slightly as they are loosened. b. Your fender may be under some tension and move when these are loosened. Note: some adjustment may be necessary during the last step of final tightening of hardware. 3. Install supplied plastic spacers on both fenders as shown, making sure that two spacers get installed over the front most holes. 4.Set fender shrouds over spacers and align with holes in chassis. Starting with rear most hole, install supplied washer and bolt through shroud, and through spacer into the chassis. Work your way up to the front bolt where the shroud will need to be pressed down slightly to get bolt started. 5. With bolts started, move fender shroud to desired position and tighten bolts. Note: Make sure that bolts pass through the center of each spacer during this step. Note: If fender moved during step 1, you may have to move fender back while tightening bolts. After this is done, check that fender lines up with hood as it did before step 1. 6. Check hardware for tightness after a week of driving to ensure they have not loosened.
