Description:

ELM 327 is the latest PC-based scan tool.It supports all OBD-II protocols and is dispatched with a number of compatible programs.Works on all 1996 to 2010 cars and light trucks sold in the United States, some 1994 and 1995 models are  ok.

The processor is an ELM 327. The output protocol (connection to laptop) is USB cable.It is easy to use and very useful to diagnose cars.

OBD-II Software for ELM 327 is a free program that allows you to use your PC and a hardware interface to get the information from your cars computer

Install of ELM 327 USB Plastic:
Simply extract the files into a folder on your computer's hard drive, and you're ready to go.-
Touninstall the program, simply delete the entire contents of the folder where the program resides.
The software supports two platforms - DOS and Windows.

For your vehicle to be OBD II compliant it must have a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) under the dash and the Vehicle Emission Control Information Label must state that the vehicle is OBD II compliant.
