Why is the shaft and the flange not welded, but using spot welding?

Because of the interference fit of the spindle root spindle, the interference is about 0.05mm. The assembly process is assembled with a 50-ton precision press. The shaft and the flange are very tight and tight, and the concentricity of the shaft and the flange is also very good. The force can be reliably transmitted to the shaft, and then added. Spot welding is equivalent to adding a layer of insurance. Since the shaft is made of precision seamless steel tube (g6 tolerance), its accuracy is very sensitive to temperature, especially the spot welding temperature is high. If it is slightly inadvertent, it will deform and lose precision. Spot welding is the most suitable way. The main shaft and the flange are equipped with interference fit (tight fit) + the end face is fixed by spot welding. The interference fit and the shaft center are more accurate. Due to the small amount of spot welding, the spindle is less deformed by heat and will not be deformed. Reduce the accuracy of the shaft.

The principle of gap matching precision debugging:

After installation, the chuck holds the standard rod, rotates the spindle, carefully observes the eccentric direction of the chuck, marks the eccentricity, and then moves the chuck in half in the opposite direction.

Then turn the spindle and observe the eccentricity. If there is an offset, adjust it again as described above until it is satisfactory.
