1. Confirm that your car is an applicable model that complies with U508;2. Make sure that the sensors of your car are programmed;3 Confirm that your car needs learning mode (some cars have automatic learning mode)Kindly Note:Package would not come with battery (this item has no 9V battery).Before do TPMS reset,please make sure the car already coding and enable the TPMS function, this is very important.When do you need it?• New TPMS sensors installed, letting air out or adding air in to the tire couldn’t make the system recognize new sensors. Enter the interface of tire pressure display by DIC
DIC shows "Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn"

The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning mode
Step 2 - Read tire pressure sensor information
Start from the front-left wheel,
Make the J-46079 or Diagnostic device EL-50448 antenna up against the valve core position & close to the rim of the tire sidewall

Step 3 - Same method to read other tire pressure information
Follow the instuction above to read tire pussure of the front-right, rear-right, rear-left wheels.
Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn bleeps twice when the learning is complete.
For certain vehicles equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPM) system, a "Sensor Re-Learn Procedure" must be performed after tire rotations, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Module replacement or Tire Pressure Sensor replacement. This re-learn procedure can be performed by using special tool 50448

*U508 Universal Car TPMS Sensor Reset Tool
Function: U508 sends a RF signal to the TPMS sensor mounted to the vehicle's wheel to "wake up" the sensor. Once the device triggers the sensor, that is ready to communicate with the vehicle's ECU.
