At high mileage the instrument cluster for these 1998 - 2005 model S500, S600, SL500, SL600, SL65 AMG, CL500, CL600, CL55 AMG experience a problem where the instrument cluster's lighting intermittently dims, flickers and then eventually turns off. At the beginning you will observe the malfunctions on hot days or if the car is parking in the sun and some time later they will stop their function. You will only need to buy (1) to fix the problem. These are Brand New directly from the original manufacturer, not cheap replicas. Please make sure this is what you need before buying because there will be no returns.

Please be aware that BUZ102S transistors may be defective also - check or in the best case scenario exchange them before putting the new transformer.
