Fix Broken Defogger Grid Lines
Visbella rear window mirror defogger repair kit is designed to repair scratched or broken rear window defogger grid lines. Surfaces to be adhered to must be smooth and flat. Repairs can be made ideally at temperatures from (10 Celsius to 24 Celsius). It provides a low-cost, high-quality repair for damaged rear window defogger grids and tabs. Features and Advantages: Our specially formulated silver repair compound will work with any conventional OEM rear window defogger system. Used to repair scratched or broken rear window defogger grid lines. The silver repair compound only takes 20 minutes to naturally cure or 2 to 3 minutes to cure with a hairdryer. Make Permanent, Invisible repairs. Any extra or overflowing repair compound that has not cured is easily removed with the provided alcohol wipes. Includes 2ml of repair compound which is enough to repair several areas of damaged grid lines. Determine which grid line is broken and where the repairs need to be made, turn off the rear defogger, Clean the surface of the glass with a cloth. Step 2. Carefully place the masking tapes over the broken area of the grid, Make sure to align both ends of the broken line with the masking tapes. Make sure there is a good seal between the window and the masking tapes. Press the masking tapes against the glass and make sure that all air bubbles are removed. Step 3. Apply the silver repair compound over the top of the masking tapes with the cotton swabs provided. To avoid solid material remains on the bottom or sides of the bottle, Stir the silver repair compound with cotton swabs before use, Step 4. Use a plastic scraper to make the surfaces smooth and flat. Make sure that the silver repair compound overlaps with both ends of the broken line. Look through the window from the inside; there should be no light showing through the repaired area. If light shows through, apply another coat of repair compound. Step 5. Remove the masking tapes immediately. Step 6. After removing the masking tapes, dry the silver repair compound. (A). Curing within 15-20mins if let dry naturally (B). Curing within 2~5mins if Dry with a hair drier. Step 7. Clean the extra silver repair compound on the glass with an alcohol prep- pad. Wait 24 hours before turning on the defogger.
